Insert a row in the chart for each strata layer, and enter the strata names. Each strata layer can have an individual shrinkage (re-compaction) and expansion (for hauling) value.

Enter the depths to each strata layer for each boring location. If you have water table depth data, you can enter it. This provides a visual indication of the water table depth in cross sections and pipe profiles.

Save your data, and digitize the boring locations.

The next step is to enter the stripping information.
