InSite SiteWork™ Earthwork and Estimating software is for anyone calculating earthwork and utility quantities. A system consists of a computer running Windows XP, a digitizing tablet, and InSite SiteWork™ software.

An estimator takes a scaled plan, and tapes it to the digitizing tablet.

The digitizing tablet is connected to the computers' USB or serial port. A take-off is started by entering in the name of the project, and the map scale. Once this is done, tracing begins.
