Stripping only Cuts

If you require stripping in cut areas only, use the following procedure: Do the entire take-off, excluding stripping. Run the Site Calculations. Once the Cut & Fill is finished, the red and green cut & fill screen is displayed, visibly identifying the areas of cut and fill . Choose Enter Map / Stripping. Use the View Menu to display the Cut & Fill shading.

Define a new Strip Area, and trace the area on the screen representing the cut areas (see illustration). Strip area number 1 was repeatedly used to cover all the cut areas.
